Track the claim.
Read the evidence.
Follow the funding.

Evidence Lab is being built to analyze fitness and nutrition claims through the full body of research—not a single headline, clip, or cherry-picked paper.

What it is being built to do

More context. Less certainty theater.

01

Track the claim

Capture what was said, who said it, when it was published, and the original source.

02

Map the evidence

Organize reviews, trials, observational studies, and mechanistic research around the question.

03

Assess study quality

Surface design, sample size, effect size, limitations, uncertainty, and practical relevance.

04

Follow funding & COI

Show declared funding, affiliations, and conflicts without treating them as proof of bias.

05

Add researcher context

Summarize relevant education, affiliations, publication history, and areas of expertise.

06

Look beyond one country

Search globally while clearly stating language, database, and coverage limitations.

Illustrative topic

Are seed oils harmful?

A topic page would compare the public claim with the research it cites, the wider evidence base, declared conflicts, and the limits of what can responsibly be concluded.

Public claim“Seed oils drive inflammation.”

Editorial standard

Source first. Transparent about uncertainty.

Public statements will be attributed with a source and date. Evidence assessments will remain separate from commentary about the person making the claim.

Funding and conflicts provide context; they do not prove that a researcher, paper, or conclusion is dishonest. Coverage and corrections will be documented.

Evidence Lab will provide education, not medical diagnosis or individualized medical advice.

Evidence / Coaching

Evidence still needs individual context.

Use research to understand the landscape. Use coaching to make decisions around your history, constraints, and feedback.
